In the next couple of weeks I will share information with the 5th graders about this new opportunity at Banks Road Elementary. Fifth graders that are eligible and interested can pick up an application packet from me. 

Due Dates for Application Packets:

Tracks 1 and 4: September 9^th

Track 3: September 23^rd

Who: 5^th grade students that have earned and maintain a level 3 in conduct in Art Class and have completed the application form and application research page.

What:  A club where students work together as a team to create murals throughout the school building.

When: Tuesday afternoons from 4-5pm during Quarters 2 and 3 of the school year during your track-in. You do NOT have to attend meetings when you are tracked out.

Where: meet in the Art Room (117) and move to the location of the mural

Why: To beautify the school and provide extra-curricular opportunities for students that enjoy and value practicing and learning about art.

Meeting Time:

 Tuesday afternoons from 4-5pm

 Pick-up will be at 5pm in the art room.

Meeting Dates:

Mural Club Members should attend all meetings when tracked in or provide a note for missed meetings.  I have noted which tracks are in during each meeting and which Tuesdays we will NOT meet.

-October 1- First meeting for tracks 1, 2, and 3

-October 22- NO MURAL CLUB! Ms. Stephenson is tracked out.

-October 29- tracks 1,2,4 (First meeting for track 4)
